Your streak, accuracy, round count, mute preference, Fight Mode statistics, Scalping Mode virtual balance, Daily Challenge picks and (optionally) the names you enter for the leaderboards and Fight Mode are stored locally in your browser via localStorage. This data stays on your device unless you explicitly submit a leaderboard entry or play a Fight Mode duel (see below). It is not accessible to us. The embedded newsletter form of our email provider also stores an identifier in local storage (see Newsletter).
Blitzkurs does not set cookies, so there is no cookie banner. We do not track you across websites and do not use advertising trackers, so Do Not Track signals have no effect.
Bitcoin/Ethereum/Solana prices are streamed directly from Binance's public WebSocket API to your browser. In the Scalping Mode, the Trading Duel in Fight Mode and the Daily Challenge, your browser also requests candle chart data and reference prices from Binance's public REST API. Your device connects to Binance directly; no price data passes through our servers. As with any connection, Binance receives your IP address and browser information. We do not send any account, name or other personal data to Binance.
The fonts used on this site (Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono) are hosted on our own servers and delivered together with the site. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other third-party font provider to load them.
If you choose to submit a name after a new best streak, that name and score are sent to our database provider (Supabase) and displayed publicly to all visitors on the leaderboard. Don't submit a name you wouldn't want shown publicly. You can skip this at any time. It is entirely optional and never required to play.
These features use the same database provider as the leaderboards, Supabase (Supabase, Inc., USA; our project is hosted in the EU, region Ireland). When you open Blitzkurs, your browser connects to Supabase to load the collective accuracy counter and to take part in the sentiment barometer. As with any connection, Supabase technically receives your IP address and browser information. Supabase processes this data on our behalf.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, the email address you enter is sent to our email service provider Kit (formerly ConvertKit, operated by ConvertKit, LLC, USA), which stores it and sends the confirmation and newsletter emails on our behalf. Subscribing is entirely optional and never required to play. We use a double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email and are only added to the list after you confirm. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to info@blitzkurs.com.
To display the sign-up form, your browser loads a script from Kit's servers (f.convertkit.com) when the page is opened, even if you do not subscribe. Kit therefore receives technical data such as your IP address and browser information, and the script stores an identifier (ckid) in your browser's local storage. Kit may process this data in the USA.
Blitzkurs is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Cloudflare processes requests to the site and keeps standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser type) for security and operational purposes, and provides us with aggregate traffic statistics based on them. Cloudflare may also run security and bot-detection scripts. We do not use any other analytics or advertising scripts on the site.
Blitzkurs is operated by a US company. Requests to the site are processed by our hosting provider and, depending on the features you use, by Supabase (database and real-time features), Binance (price data) and Kit (newsletter). These providers may process data in the US and other countries. Please see their privacy policies for details.
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising. Depending on where you live, for example in California, you may ask us what personal information we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Most data stays on your device, and leaderboard entries are tied only to the name you chose, so please include that name when you contact us at info@blitzkurs.com.
The GDPR or UK GDPR may apply to you. We process the data described above based on our legitimate interest in running and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for the newsletter, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure and restriction (Art. 15-18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Blitzkurs is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Last updated: October 2026.
